About Kadhai Paneer Recipe

Soft Cottage cheese with red gravy will melt in your mouth. Very easy to make this restaurant style curry

Kadhai Paneer

Ingredients to make Kadhai Paneer

  • 150 gms cottage cheese
  • 2 large onions for gravy
  • 2 big or 3 medium tomatoes
  • 1 tbspn chilli garlic ginger paste
  • Dry masala (red chilli powder, coriander- powder, garam masala)
  • 1 tspn sugar to balance the sourness
  • 3-4 tbsoon Oil + ghee
  • 1/2 capsicum diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2-3 tbspn cream or malai
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbspn Kasuri methi

How to make Kadhai Paneer

  1. Chop tomatoes and onions for gravy
  2. Add oil in a pan and add the chopped onions and saute them
  3. After the onions get little sauted add tomatoes too. Saute them till they get soft
  4. Now take them out in mixer grinder
  5. Add oil and ghee in pan, add cumin and ginger chill garlic paste
  6. Add diced onions and capsicum, saute till they are little fried
  7. Add paneer cut into long pieces and saute them too till little golden brown
  8. Now grind the onion and tomato which we sauted before
  9. Add dry masalas and salt into the pan
  10. Now mix it till oil seperates
  11. Add the gravy and let onion, capsicum and paneer mix with it properly.
  12. Add little sugar for balancing the sourness, if you don't want you can omit
  13. Add cream and kasuri methi
  14. Serve hot with tawa roti

My Tip:

You can add tomato ketchup to give a tangy taste to it
