About Egg dal fry. Recipe

A simple dish with dal & egg, that serves as a perfect side dish for roti and parathas.

Egg dal fry.

Ingredients to make Egg dal fry.

  • Boiled moong dal 3 tbsp, with it s gravy.
  • eggs 2
  • onion 1 chopped
  • green chillies 3.
  • tomato 1 chopped
  • garlic 3 chopped or paste
  • chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 2 pinch
  • salt
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • coriander leaves

How to make Egg dal fry.

  1. Heat a pan with oil. Add garlic. Fry.
  2. Then add onion & green chillies. Fry till it s golden brown in colour
  3. Then add tomato , along with chilli powder, turmeric & salt. Cook till tomatoes is well mashed,.add a little water if needed.
  4. Then add well beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs well.
  5. Then add cooked dal with it s cooked water. If needed add a little more water.
  6. Cook for a few minutes. Add coriander leaves.
  7. Serve hot with rice or rotis. I prefer rice or chapathi.

My Tip:

U can use any dal. Try to serve hot.
