A chicken tikka kebab dish with a spicy and creamy gravy. Chicken tikka butter masala is a famous dish of Indian cuisine. It is a perfect dish to serve in any party or special occasion. Chicken tikka butter masala is a mouthwatering and delicious dish prepared by the chicken. People of different region prepare this recipe with a lot of variation, according to their taste. Chicken tikka butter masala is an Indian boneless chicken gravy dish which is served in almost every restaurant of India. Chicken tikka butter masala is slightly similar to the other butter masala recipes. By the help of this recipe you will definitely know how to make Chicken tikka butter masala. In this, chicken tikka kebabs are cooked with aromatic and flavorful spices. The curry is prepared with a lot of pan seared spices along with ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, butter and cream. While preparing the curry you will feel the aroma. Cream is used to enhance the taste and to make the curry thick. Serve this Chicken tikka butter masala with rice, roti or naan and enjoy each and every bite.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 500 gm chicken Tikka Kebabs
  2. 12 tomatoes, chopped
  3. 4 tbsp butter
  4. 4 green cardamoms
  5. 1 gm Mace (javitri)
  6. 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  7. salt to taste
  8. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tbsp Roasted fenugreek leaves (Kasoori Methi)
  10. 1 tbsp sugar
  11. 4 tbsp fresh cream


  1. Make puree of the tomatoes for the gravy. Keep aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a pan on low flame. Now add the green cardamoms, mace and mix it well. Then add ginger-garlic paste and stir it well. Now add the tomato puree, salt, red chilli powder. Cook for 20 mins.
  3. Add kasoori methi, rest of the butter and cook for 5 mins. Mix the sugar and cream, cook it for another 4 mins.
  4. Now add the chicken and cook for 5 mins. (Follow my chicken tikka recipe)
  5. It's ready to be served hot with butter naan!
