Dhabeli Brucchetta

Ingredients to make Dhabeli Brucchetta

  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup boiled potatoes
  • 1 tsp date khajur chutney
  • 2 tsp dhabeli masala
  • 1/2 cup garlic chutney
  • 1 tsp corainder leaves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4-5 grated cheese or grated mozeralla cheese
  • 1 tsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chilly powder
  • For garnishing
  • Chopped onion
  • masala peanuts
  • Fresh pomogranate seeds
  • Nylon sev

How to make Dhabeli Brucchetta

  1. Cut french loaf into slices and toast it well till crispy and keep it aside
  2. For the dhabeli filling:Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add onion and saute it for 2-3 minutes till transculent, now add dhabeli masala, salt, chilly powder and slide in roughly mashed boiled potatoes, mix well.Add little water as the mixture will be too dry, adjust seasoning.
  3. Now add garlic chilly chutney and imili khajur ki chutney and mix.Add lemon juice and corainder leaves and transfer it in a bowl.
  4. Now apply butter to the toasted bread slices and apply red garlic chilly chutney on the base.Now spread generous helping of prepared dhabeli filling, sprinkle some cheese on top and place it in an oven for 5 mins for cheese to melt.
  5. Finally garnish it with chopped onion, fresh pomogranate pearls, masala peanuts and enjoy.
