Ingredients to make Thirattupal

  • Milk 1 litre
  • coconut 1 number
  • jaggery 1/2 kg
  • green gram dal 50 gm
  • ghee 4 table spoon
  • cashew 10 number
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

How to make Thirattupal

  1. MILK COCONUT CARDAMOM POWDER JAGGERY GREEN GRAM DAL
  2. DRY FRY DAL
  3. GRIND COCONUT AND DAL TO FINE PASTE
  4. POWDER JAGGERY
  5. IN A PAN ADD JAGGERY GROUND PASTE AND MILK
  6. COOK WELL TILL IT FORMS AN HALWA CONSISTENCY
  7. STIR CONTINUOUSLY
  8. PERFECTLY COOKED - LEAVES ITSELF FROM SIDE
  9. IN A PAN ADD GHEE AND FRY CASHEW
  10. ADD TO THERATTUPAL
