Children love sandwich and that’s one way to camouflage a number of healthy food through sandwiches . Some don’t prefer taking curd . Curd is a rich probiotic which ensures healthy gut . This sandwich is perfect for those who don’t prefer consuming curd in rice or lassies . Summer friendly Sandwich.

Curd Sandwich

Ingredients to make Curd Sandwich

  • Any bread of your choice 4 slices
  • Fresh hung Curd / yogurt - 5 tablespoons
  • salt a pinch
  • Grated zucchini 3 tablespoons
  • cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  • spring onions 4 tablespoons

How to make Curd Sandwich

  1. Heat a pan . Don’t add oil . Cut the edges of the bread and place these bread slices on the pan and toast gently . Don’t leave the breads at heat for a long time as it turns hard .
  2. Flip either sides of the bread slices and toast gently . Dint wait till the breads turn brown . Once slightly toasted , transfer the bread slices to a plate .
  3. In a bowl , take yogurt . Add the finely grated zucchini , salt , chaat powder and cumin powder and mix gently . Add the chopped spring onions and mix again .
  4. Don’t whisk as the yogurt would release water . Just a gentle mix will do .
  5. Now take the toasted bread slices . Spread this yogurt mixture on one slice and place another slice on top of this .
  6. Cut the toast into triangles or any shape as you prefer . .
  7. Curd sandwiches are ready to serve .

My Tip:

Don’t toast the breads for a longer time till it turns brown . Slight toasting will do .
