About Dal vada Recipe

We can use channa dal or peas dal. Peas dal is more tasty. This is a perfect tea time vada, made with that dal.

Ingredients to make Dal vada

  • peas dal 1 cup
  • Red Chillies 2
  • salt
  • hing 2 pinch
  • onion finely chopped 1
  • green chillies 2 chopped
  • curry leaves chopped
  • oil to deep fry.

How to make Dal vada

  1. Soak dal for 2, 3 hrs. Drain .remove all water.
  2. Put in a blender & coarsely grind, along with red chillies, salt & hing.dont add any water.
  3. Mix chopped onion, green chillies & curry leaves with the dough.
  4. Heat oil. Take lemon size balls from the dough. Flatten with ur hands & deep fry in oil. Cook both sides.
  5. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Drain out water completely before grinding the dal.
