Homemade maida biscuits

Ingredients to make Homemade maida biscuits

  • all purpose flour / Maida – 1 cup
  • Ghee or butter– 1 ½ tbsp
  • sugar powder – 4 tbsp
  • water as needed
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Homemade maida biscuits

  1. In a bowl add all purpose flour, ghee and 4 tbsp of sugar powder mix well.
  2. Add water knead it make soft dough. Then cover it & leave it for 15 to 20 min.
  3. Sprinkle flour & roll out into thick chapatti.
  4. Cut into strips first & then cut in to diamond shapes & leave it for 5 min.
  5. Heat oil in a pan then deep fry till golden brown on low to medium hot oil .
  6. When it is ready take it out & drain on an absorbent paper.
  7. Biscuits are ready and let it cool.
  8. Store it in an airtight container and use within 5 days.

My Tip:

Whatever shape you want you can cut it.
