A scrumptious chaat for those chaat lovers out there. An innovative idea of mine for that irresistible snack time that everyone loves to spend time around with their loved ones. Snacks do form an integral part of every Indian. Tangy and spicy with loads of colourful shades and hues. Happy Snacking Friends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaloo Bhajiya Chaat...

Ingredients to make Aaloo Bhajiya Chaat...

  • cucumbers cubed 3
  • tomatoes chopped 3
  • green chillies finely chopped 2
  • onion chopped 1
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Sev 1 cup
  • peanuts fried 1/2 cup
  • Chaat masala 1 tbsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • FOR THE AALOO BHAJIYA ; gram flour 1 1/2 cups
  • salt 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/8th tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • water 1/2 cup
  • potatoes thinly sliced large 2

How to make Aaloo Bhajiya Chaat...

  1. Make a semi thick but smooth batter with gram flour and all the other ingredients mentioned under it.
  2. Keep it aside for atleast 20 minutes.
  3. Peel and slice the potatoes thinly.
  4. Dip them in the batter to coat well and deep fry in hot oil on a medium high to high heat.
  5. Drain and keep aside.
  6. Now comes the assembling part of the chaat.
  7. Break the bhajiyas into bite sized pieces.
  8. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and stir well.
  9. Sprinkle some more chaat masala on top and squeeze a small lemon for that awesome scrumptious chaat.

My Tip:

Remember to serve it immediately or assemble it just before serving. It tends to become soggy otherwise.
