About Jeera puri Recipe

Jeera puri is Gujarati's one of famous snacks can enjoy with tea. These can be stored and consumed later as well.

Jeera puri

Ingredients to make Jeera puri

  • maida 200 gram
  • oil 3 tablespoon
  • cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
  • salt as per taste
  • Black paper powder 1/2 spoon
  • Warm water as required
  • oil for deep fry

How to make Jeera puri

  1. Take flour and pass in strainer
  2. Add oil, salr, cumin seeds and paper powder
  3. Knead dough with warm water (Make dough hard)
  4. Make 15 equal parts of dough
  5. With help of rolling pin give round shape and make puri
  6. With help of fork indention in puri (otherwise it becomes puffy)
  7. Then deep fry jt on medium flame till pink brown and enjoy with tea.

My Tip:

You can also add wheat flour and semolina for more healthier and crisp. Also for crisp you can add rice flour.
