About dryfruit shreekhand Recipe

This is the traditional sweet from Gujarat and Maharashtra. It is also known as ‘Matho’. It is made from hung or strained curd/yogurt and sugar. Chopped nuts are also added.

Ingredients to make dryfruit shreekhand

  • 500 gram dahi
  • chopped mix dryfruit
  • sugar

How to make dryfruit shreekhand

  1. FIRST LET’S PREPARE FOR HUNG CURD. TAKE A DEEP BOWL AND STRAINER
  2. PUT THE MUSLIN CLOTHADD PLAIN YOGURT INTO THE PREPARED STRAINER.
  3. TIE THE EDGES OF THE CLOTHWE HAVE JUST PREPARED IT AND YOU WILL SEE THAT THE LIQUID IS ALREADY BOWL
  4. AFTER 2 HOURS, ALL THE LIQUID/WHEY HAS BEEN DRAINED OUT. YOU WILL LEFT WITH VERY THICK YOGURT
  5. TAKE HUNG CURD INTO A BOWL
  6. ADD SUGAR
  7. MIX IT WELL
  8. ADD CARDAMOM POWDER CHOPPED DRYFRUIT
  9. ADD CRUSHED SAFFRON INTO THE WARM MILK AND STIR
  10. SHRIKHAND IS READY TO SERVE.
