This easy and quick snack Bread poha is a healthy and tasty breakfast meal made with break pieces mixed with othwer veggies in spices and herbs.

Ingredients to make Bread poha

  • 5 slices bread (cut into cubes)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 cup capsicum chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Bread poha

  1. HEAT 2 TSP OIL
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEED, LET IT CRACKLE
  3. ADD 1 CHOPPED ONION AND 1 CUP CABBAGE
  4. 1 CUP CAPSICUM, 1/2 CUP GREEN PEAS, MIX WELL
  5. 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  6. 1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER, MIX WELL AND LET IT COOK ON LOW FLAME FOR 5 MINUTES
  7. ADD 1 TOMATO AND SALT TO TASTE, MIX WELL AND COOK FOR ANOTHER TWO MINUTES
  8. ADD 1 TSP LEMON JUICE MIX IT WELL
  9. ADD 5 SLICE BREAD CUT INTO CUBES ,AND COAT THEM NICELY WITH VEGGIES
  10. ADD 1 TSP SUGAR (OPTIONAL), MIX AND COOK FOR 1 MORE MINUTE ON LOW FLAME
  11. ADD HANDFUL CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES
  12. READY, SERVE HOT
