Ingredients to make aloo bhujiya sev

  • 1 cup gram flour/besan
  • 2 potatoes boiled
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • oil for deep frying

How to make aloo bhujiya sev

  1. firstly, in a mixing bowl grate the boiled potatoes
  2. in another bowl take besan, salt, red chili powder, asafoetida, chat masala and mix well
  3. add the grated potatoes and knead to a smooth dough
  4. cover and keep aside for 15 minutes
  5. take a sev maker with small holes mold and grease with some oil
  6. place the dough inside the sev maker and tighten the lid
  7. heat oil in a kadai on medium flame
  8. when oil becomes hot, directly press the sev into oil and fry on medium flame
  9. flip the sev and fry till they turn golden brown and crispy
  10. remove the sev from oil and drain on the absorbent paper
  11. once cooled serve with masala tea
