Those looking for some healthy sweet snack here is one baked delicacy that can be had guilt free. It is sugar free, made of whole wheat flour, has banana and dates and at the same time is filling.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
  2. 1 tsp. baking powder
  3. 1/2 tsp; baking soda
  4. 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
  5. pinch of salt
  6. 2 banana, peeled & cut into pieces
  7. 1/2 cup oil
  8. 10 dates, deseeded & soaked in warm water for 30 minutes
  9. 1 tsp. rose water
  10. 2 tbsp. raisins & chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. Blend the banana, dates, oil and rose water in a mixer to a fine paste. Keep aside.
  2. Pass all the dry ingredients through a sieve and add the raisins and pistachios.
  3. To it add the banana-dates paste and mix until well incorporated.
  4. Transfer to a greased cake tin and bake for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees C. in a preheated oven.
  5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
