ABOUT Caramel custard RECIPE

This is a delicious and beautiful caramel custard, which is a perfect after dinner desert.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. evaporated milk -1 can(400g)
  2. Condensed milk-1 can 400gm
  3. egg-3
  4. Vanilla essence-1 spoon
  5. sugar-3/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Make caramel by melting the sugar in a sauce pan on medium low flame,keep stirring constantly for 3-4 minutes until you get caramel.
  2. Pour the caramel in a pan and swirl to coat .
  3. In a bowl mix together condensed milk , evaporated milk,eggs and vanilla . Mix with a whisk to combine . Pour this mixture in the mould .
  4. Then steam it for 35-45 minutes.
  5. Remove the flan from the steamer and let to cool before unmoulding. .
  6. Refrigerate for 5-6 hours or overnight.. Run a knife at the edges to loosen the sides of the flan
  7. Cover with a plate and flip to invert Serve chilled.
