  • Fresh Corriander- 1 fistful

  • Fresh ginger- 1 inch
  • garlic - 1 seed

  • oil- 2 tsp ( for mixing)
  • oil - 1 kadai for frying

How to make Puris with a masalaedar twist

  1. Grind coriander, green chillies, ginger and garlic together to a fine paste. Ensure there are no lumps left. You can add little water if required.
  2. Take a mixing bowl add wheat flour, little salt , oil and the above mixture and start kneading it. Add water as required and prepare a stiff dough till it doesnt sick to vessel or your hand. Keep it aside for 15- 30 mins and let it rest.
  3. Heat the oil till its ready for frying. Meanwhile divide the flour equally and start rolling it in 3 to 4 inches diameter. Dont roll it too thin.
  4. Fry the puris till you see a nice greenish brownish colour to it and serve it hot with Ketchup or tamarind sweet chutney.

My Tip:

Use fresh coriander leaves for best flavour.
