Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Rajgira aata 1 small katori
  2. 2 Mashed potatoes
  3. 2 chopped green chillies
  4. A spoon of chopped coriander leaves
  5. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  6. oil for frying
  7. For the raita
  8. 1 bowl curd
  9. 1 spoon sugar
  10. 1 tablespoon crushed peanut
  11. 1 tablespoon chopped apple

Instructions

  1. ADD RAJGIRA AATA TO THE MASHED POTATOES. ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER AND HALF A TEA SPOON OF LEMON JUICE. AND START MIXING IT WELL WITH THE MIXTURE.
  2. ROLL THE THALIPEETH DOUGH WITH YOUR HANDS. USE YOUR PALMS WHILE MIXING.
  3. ONCE THE DOUGH IS SOFT ENOUGH, ROLL OUT A SMALL PART AND TAKE IT IN YOUR PALM.
  4. ROLL THE DOUGH IN YOUR PALM LIKE A LADDU.
  5. NOW FLATTEN THE DOUGH ON YOUR PALMS. NEXT, TAKE A PLATE, AND ADD OR SPRINKLE SOME RAJGIRA ATTA ON IT.
  6. SPREAD THE AATA. NOW PLACE THE ROLLED DOUGH AND START SPREADING IT WOTH YOUR FINGERS.
  7. KEEP POLISHING THE EDGES AND GO SLOW. PATIENCE IS THE KEY TO A GOOD THALIPEETH.
  8. DO NOT MAKE A VERY BIG THALIPEETH. KEEP IT OF MEDIUM SIZE.
  9. HEAT THE PAN AND SPREAD A SPOON OF VEGETABLE OIL ON IT.
  10. MAKE A SMALL HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THALIPEETH AND GENTLY PLACE IT ON THE HEATED PAN.
  11. LET IT COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME.
  12. NOW SPREAD SOME OIL ON THE THALIPEETH
  13. GENTLY FLIP THE THALIPEETH.
  14. IT SHOULD BE GOLDEN BROWN IN COLOUR.
  15. MEANWHILE, PREPARE THE RAITA. TAKE A SMALL BOWL OF CURD, ADD A SPOON OF SUGAR AND CRUSHED PEANUTS.
  16. NOW ADD A BIG TABLE SPOON OF CHOPPED APPLES.
  17. MIX IT WELL.
  18. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE THALIPEETH WILL BE READY. GENTLY SHIFT IT ON THE PLATE.
  19. YUMMY RAJGIRA THALIPEETH AND APPLE PEANUT RAITA IS READY.
