ABOUT Masala baby potatoes ( without onion and garlic) RECIPE

It is a very simple and tasty receipe of potatoes that is made during navratras. It is very simple but very tasty. You can eat it any time. Serve it with curd or raita.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Baby potatoes 1 kg (washed properly)
  2. Tomatoes 3
  3. Green chillies 3
  4. Ginger paste 2 teaspoon
  5. Rock Salt to taste
  6. Red chili powder 2 teaspoon or to taste
  7. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon
  10. Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
  11. Garam masala 1 tablespoon
  12. Asfetoida 1 teaspoon
  13. Oil 3 tablespoon
  14. Mint leaves chopped 4
  15. Coriander leaves chopped
  16. Kasoori methi 1 tablespoon crushed

Instructions

  1. Chop potatoes if u wish in halves.
  2. Add oil into a wok and add asfetoida and cumin seeds, coriander seeds. Let it crackle.
  3. Now add potatoes to it.mix well and stir constantly after every 5 minutes. Keep the flame low and cook till potatoes become soft.
  4. Now chop tomatoes, green chillies. Make a puree. When potatoes done add tomato puree to it.
  5. Stir constantly and cook for 5 minutes on low flame. Till masala leaves oil. Add all masalas except leaves and kasoori methi.
  6. Stir constantly for 5 minutes more on low flame. Add chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves and kasoori methi. Cook with covered lid for 2 minutes . Your masala baby potatoes are ready to serve.
