Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Apple – 1 nos (Unpeeled and cut into small pieces)
  2. Clarified Butter / Desi ghee – 2 tsp
  3. Cumin Seeds / Jeera – 1 tsp
  4. Chopped Green Chillies – 1 tsp
  5. Curry Leaves – 5 to 6
  6. Groundnuts / Peanuts / Mungfali – 1 tsp
  7. Red Chilli Powder / Lal mirchi – ¼ tsp
  8. Vrat Salt – ¼ tsp
  9. Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  10. Peanut Powder – 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a cooking pan take 2 tsp of Ghee and allow it to heat.
  2. Add 1 tsp of Jeera, 1 tsp of chopped Green Chillies followed by few Curry Leaves and 1 tsp of Peanuts.
  3. Roast Peanuts for 2 Min nicely.
  4. Then add unpeeled Apple pieces and sauté the Apples nicely for 3 – 4 Min.
  5. Add ¼ tsp of Red Chilli Powder and ¼ tsp of Vrat Salt and mix well.
  6. Add 1 tsp of Lemon juice and 2 tsp of Peanut Powder and mix well.
  7. Cover the lid and cook on low flame for 2 Min.
  8. Apple Khichadi is ready to serve hot.
