Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Anchovies 25 fishes
  2. Corn flour 1 tablespoon
  3. Refined flour 3 tablespoons
  4. Ginger garlic paste 1.5 teaspoon
  5. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  8. Salt as taste
  9. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Discard the head and tail of the Anchovies . Clean the fish thoroughly . Wash using turmeric powder finally to get rid of the unpleasant odour .
  2. Wash and Drain the fishes completely . Let’s start the marination process .
  3. Take a bowl and add the ingredients required for the marination . Ginger garlic paste , turmeric powder , chilli powder , corn flour , refined flour , chilli powder , little water and mix into a smooth paste . The paste shouldn’t be watery .
  4. Now add the fishes and marinate in the prepared Masala paste for about 2 hours for better masala penetration and taste .
  5. After 2 hours , heat oil for deep frying in a kadai , add these marinated fishes into the hot oil and fry gently under low flame for 5 minutes each sides .
  6. Serve hot .
