Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Coarse Besan (Gram Flour) - 1 cup
  2. Khoya - 1 cup
  3. Ghee - 1 cup
  4. Milk - 2 tbsp
  5. Sugar - 1 cup
  6. Water- 1 cup
  7. Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
  8. Chopped almonds & pistachios

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add besan and ghee (2 tsp around). Mix it properly using your hands. Sieve the mixture, then add milk into the mixture.
  2. Grease a plate and keep it aside. Then make one thread of sugar consistency sugar syrup.
  3. Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add the rest of the ghee, then add the besan mixture and saute properly. Once you get a nutty aroma, add the sugar syrup, khoya and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Spread this besan mixture on the greased plate.
  4. Garnish with almond and pistachios. Once its cooled, cut down into desired shapes.
