Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw rice 1 cup
  2. Urad dhal 1/4 cup
  3. Handful of coriander leaves
  4. Few curry leaves
  5. 2-3 green chillies
  6. 1 tsp asafoetida
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil as required

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice and dhal for 30 minutes.
  2. Then grind the rice and dhal along with coriander, curry leaves and chillies to form a smooth paste.
  3. Add the required salt now. Add a tsp of oil in a pan to heat, then add the mustard and temper it. Turn it off.
  4. Pour this tempering into the paste mixture and mix well.
  5. Take the paniyaram pan and make the paniyaram.
  6. Serve it hot for best taste!
