Mini kulchas, naan bombs are now trending the restaurant charts in the starters/snacks menu. These breads are stuffed and served with chutney/ achari sauce etc. The melted cheese in this kulchas is just yumm!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For the dough:
  2. 2 cups Maida
  3. 1/4 cup curd
  4. 1/4 tsp baking soda
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 2 tsp oil
  7. Luke warm water to knead the dough
  8. For the stuffing
  9. 3-4 cubes processed cheese
  10. 1/2 tsp chilly flakes
  11. 1 tsp corainder leaves
  12. 1 green chilly chopped
  13. Other Ingredients:
  14. 2-3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Knead a soft dough and keep it aside to rest for 20 mins
  2. For the stuffing, add chilly flakes, green chilly, corainder leaves to the grated cheese, mix and keep aside
  3. Now apply little oil on your palm and soften the dough with your hands
  4. Take a lemon size ball of the dough and roll it (using little flour) into small disc, place 1 tsp of cheese filling in the center and seal the edges, now again roll with light hands to form mini kulcha ( poori size) with 1/2 cm thickness. Repeat the procedure to make mini kulchas
  5. Now heat a non stick tawa/griddle and place 3-4 kulchas at a time and roast it on both sides to cook well. Now with help of spatula pick each one and roast it on a gas flame for just a sec on both sides. Place it on the plate and generously apply butter on both sides.Enjoy hot Chilly cheese kulchas
  6. This recipe is kulcha recipe on tawa and roasted on gas flame for charred tandoori taste.
