ABOUT Malpua RECIPE

Malpua is a sweet dish which is an Indian pancake and served as a desert . I am sharing the recipe of malpua which is common in Bengal mainly at the time of Janmashthami because we believe that Gopal Krishna loved Malpua and we give him as a prasad.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rava / Sooji - 1/2 cup
  2. Maida - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar -1/2 cup
  4. Sauf - 1 tbsp
  5. sunflower oil for deep fry
  6. Water as required for batter
  7. dry fruits for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take a big bowl , put 1/2 cup rava , 1/2 cup maida , 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tbsp of sauf and water to make a batter .
  2. leave the batter set for 30 mins or more , The more the ingredients set , the taste will enhance more
  3. After 30 mins , whisk the batter once .
  4. Heat oil in a deep fry pan , with the help of serving spoon put the batter into oil
  5. The batter turned a round like shape fry both the sides
  6. When it is golden brown , take it out in a tissues napkin to absorb the excess oil .
  7. like this process fry the rest of the malpua’s
  8. garnish the Malpua with dry fruits and serve hot
