Yummy pitthi wale bread pakore that goes best with mint chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 5 bread slices (cut in four pieces)
  2. For the batter:
  3. 1 and 1/2 cup soaked moong dal (yellow)
  4. 4 cloves of garlic
  5. A small piece of ginger
  6. 2 green chillies
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1 tsp kasoori methi

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients of the batter and grind to make a very fine paste with the help of a little water.
  2. Now heat the oil and dip the bread pieces in batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry these pakoras on a medium flame till they become golden brown in colour.
  4. Serve these hot pitthi pakoras with a minty dip.
