  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Finely chopped tender jackfruit 4 cup
  • tamarind lemon sized soaked water 2 cup
  • Jaggery 1 lemon sized
  • For masala...
  • red chilli 5-6
  • coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  • Grated coconut 1 cup
  • water

How to make Traditional Masala Tender Jackfruit

  1. SEASONING
  2. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  3. TURMERIC POWDER
  4. ADD FINELY CHOPPED TENDER JACKFRUIT
  5. TAMARIND SOAKED WATER
  6. ADD SALT, MIX WELL, CLOSE THE LID AND COOK UNTIL SMOOTH
  7. IN THE MEANTIME GRIND CORIANDER SEEDS, COCONUT AND RED CHILLI BY ADDING SUFFICIENT WATER
  8. ADD JAGGERY, ALLOW IT TO DISSOLVE
  9. AFTER WELL COOK ADD GROUND MASALA
  10. MIX WELL AND TURN OFF THE FLAME, SERVE WITH RICE
