I love Rajasthan udad dal wali kachori. From that I got the idea and made this from left over udad dal.

Ingredients to make Leftover udaddal puri andparatha

  • 1 bowl left over udad dal
  • 1/2 bowl of wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp haldi ( turmeric)
  • 1/2 tsp dhania powder
  • oil as required

How to make Leftover udaddal puri andparatha

  1. Mix all the ingredients well and add 2 tbsp oil and make a dough like puri or paratha.
  2. Keep this aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Make a puri or paratha and enjoy the soft and tasty puri and paratha.

My Tip:

This puri and paratha are cooked on medium heat till it turns light pink in colour.
