ABOUT Broccoli And Cheese Cutlets RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Broccoli, finely chopped- 250 gm (approx.1 cup)
  2. Onion, finely chopped- ½ cup
  3. Garlic, minced- 1 tbsp
  4. Green chillies, minced- 3 (optional or you can use chili flakes)
  5. Cornflour- 2 tbsp
  6. Processed cheese, grated- ½ cup or 3 cubes
  7. Fresh Bread crumbs- ½ cup (from 3-4 bread slices)
  8. Salt and pepper- to taste
  9. Dry bread crumbs for rolling- as required
  10. Oil for shallow frying- as required

Instructions

  1. Boil water, add a pinch of soda-bi-carb. Parboil broccoli florets. Drain and squeeze lightly. Allow to cool and chop finely broccoli.
  2. Combine broccoli, onion, garlic, chilli, cornflour, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix well and divide into equal parts. Shape and roll into the breadcrumbs.
  4. Shallow fry on a griddle using a little oil till golden brown on both sides.
