Aaloo halwa (potato pudding)

Ingredients to make Aaloo halwa (potato pudding)

  • Boiled potatoes 5
  • Sugar1/2 cup
  • 1/2cup clarified butter
  • Milk 1/2cup
  • Chopped dry fruits (cashew ,almonds )2 table spoon
  • raisins 1table spoon
  • chironji 1 table spoon
  • cardamom powder 1teaspoon
  • saffron 7 thread

How to make Aaloo halwa (potato pudding)

  1. Soak the saffron strands in lukewarm milk .
  2. Grate the boiled potato and mash properly.
  3. Heat clarified butter in a thick bottom pan
  4. Add mashed potatoes in it.
  5. Roast it on medium flame .Keep stirring.
  6. When aroma came out .Add sugar in it .
  7. Add saffron milk in it .
  8. Cook and roast for 10 minutes .
  9. When mixture start leaving edges and come together add all dryfruit and raisins ,chirongi and cardamom powder.
  10. After 5 minutes switch off the flame.
  11. Your aaloo halwa is ready to be serve.
