Italian Rosemary mushroom bites

ABOUT Italian Rosemary mushroom bites RECIPE

A perfect healthy and delicious snack option which is served bite sized.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. A pack of big sized mushroom 200g
  2. 2tbsp feta cheese
  3. 1/4 cup of finely chopped chicken sausages
  4. Few sprigs of fresh rosemary
  5. Salt
  6. Red chilli flakes
  7. 1/4 Cup Mozzarella
  8. 2tbsp Olive oil
  9. Cherry tomatoes
  10. Chopped cilantro 1/2tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry mushrooms
  2. Now carefully remove the mushroom stems and clean the discs
  3. In a plate place all the discs upside down
  4. Finely chop the mushroom stems and put them in a mixing bowl
  5. Add in the chopped sausages, feta cheese, salt, chilli flakes, minutely chopped rosemary and cilantro
  6. Mix well
  7. Now fill the mushroom discs with this filling
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella on top of each disc
  9. In a toothpick insert one cherry tomato and prick it in the centre of mushroom disc
  10. Repeat the procedure with rest of the mushroom discs
  11. Grease the grilling pan with olive oil and grill the mushroom discs until the mozzarella melts and mushroom is cooked
  12. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and some olive oil
  13. Enjoy hot
