Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 Urad Dal Papads crushed lightly
  2. 200 grams Cottage Cheese Cubes
  3. 1/4 cup gram flour (besan)
  4. 2 tablespoons crushed peanut
  5. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  7. cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 3 tablespoons green chutney
  10. Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. Mix together gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, crushed peanut and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and whisk to make a thick smooth batter.
  2. cut the cottage cheese cubes from middle and apply green chutney.
  3. Spread the crushed papads evenly on a plate.
  4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the cottage cheese cubes in the batter and roll in the crushed papads. Gently slide into hot oil and deep-fry in medium hot oil till golden. Drain on absorbent.
  5. Serve hot with tomato sauce
