Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the white layer:
  2. mawa 300 gms
  3. Powder sugar 100 gms
  4. cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  5. ghee 2 tsp
  6. For chocolate layer:
  7. mawa 200 gms
  8. Powdered sugar 70 gms
  9. Cocoa powder 2 tbsp


  1. For the white layer, heat a pan, add 1 tsp ghee, the grated mawa, powdered sugar, cardamom powdered and let it melt on a slow flame while stirring continuously.
  2. Roast this runny mixture for 4 to 5 minutes, now take it out in a greased plate and smoothen the surface with the back of the greased spoon. Let it set for half an hour.
  3. For the chocolate layer :
  4. Heat a pan, add mawa, sugar and cocoa powder. Let it melt on a low flame while stirring continuously.
  5. Roast this runny mixture for 4-5 minutes. Turn off the flame. Spread this mixture on the white layer which is already set.
  6. Smoothen the surface with the back of a greased spoon. Let it set for 1 hour. Now cut into pieces.
