About Milk Burfi Recipe

A simple dessert made with milk and paneer

Milk Burfi

Ingredients to make Milk Burfi

  • Milk 1 litre
  • paneer grated 200gms
  • sugar 1/2cup
  • cornflour 2tbsp
  • Milk powder 1/4cup
  • elaichi powder 1tsp
  • almond pista flakes 2tbsp
  • butter 1tsp

How to make Milk Burfi

  1. Boil milk in thick bottom pan
  2. When reduced to half add grated paneer
  3. Stir continuously
  4. Add milk powder, cornflour, and sugar
  5. Cook till thick
  6. Add Elaichi powder
  7. Cook till it leaves the sides of pan
  8. Grease a tin with butter
  9. Pour the thick rabdi
  10. Sprinkle almond pista flakes
  11. Chill for 3hours in freezer and cut in squares

My Tip:

Sometimes I add saffron and chopped makhanas too
