Sabudana thalipeeth

Ingredients to make Sabudana thalipeeth

  • sabudana... 1 cup
  • potato boiled and mashed... 1 cup
  • cumin seeds... 1/2 tea spoon
  • Grated ginger ... 1 tea spoon
  • Roasted peanut powder... 1 ta le spoon
  • Desi ghee or oil... As required
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander... 2 tea spoon {optional}
  • Chopped green chillies as per taste

How to make Sabudana thalipeeth

  1. Pic of ingredients
  2. Soak sabudana for half an hour, sieve and see that there is no moisture left in it. Continue tap the seive till there is any drop of water in it. Now let it be there in the seive for at least two hours
  3. Mix everything except oil or ghee, whatever using. You may add few drops of lemon juice in this mix
  4. Take a polythene, apply some water. Take some sabudana mix, place it over polythene and with the help of hands, press it to a thin round disc
  5. Heat a non stick tawa on medium flame, place the rolled thalipeeth very carefully on the tawa. You make make some holes in it. I didn't
  6. Pour some ghee on the edges, if required and cook till brown on both sides
  7. Cook all the thalipeeth this way

My Tip:

Do check there should be no moist left in sabudana
