Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Curd - 2 cups
  2. Gram flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Hing - 2pinch
  4. Whole red chilly- 2- or 3
  5. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
  6. Coriander seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Curry leaves 8-10
  9. Chopped onion - 1
  10. Fresh tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Chilly powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  14. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  15. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  16. Ginger Paste 1 Teaspoon
  17. Chopped green chilly - 1

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add curd , gram flour and mix it well. Add 1 glass of water, prepare a thin batter without any lumps .
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and add- hing, garam masala, ginger paste, chopped green chilly, coriander powder, chilli powder and turmeric, roast them properly.
  3. When masala leaves the oil , add thin batter of curd and gramflour.
  4. Let it boil on slow flame for 20-25 min. You can add more water if needed while boiling . Switch off the flame .
  5. Add besan pakoda and garnish with coriander leaves . Serve with rice .
