Curry leaves prawn fry

Ingredients to make Curry leaves prawn fry

  • 100 gms cleaned prawn
  • 1/2 tsp whole black pepper
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 6 shallots
  • salt required
  • 6 cashews chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

How to make Curry leaves prawn fry

  1. TAKE CLEANED AND DE-VEINED PRAWN. ADD TURMERIC POWDER AND SALT. SET ASIDE FOR 20 MIN
  2. IN A BLENDER, TAKE BLACK WHOLE PEPPER, GINGER, GARLIC, SHALLOTS AND CURRY LEAVES.
  3. GRIND ALL TO FINE PASTE
  4. TO THE PRAWNS, ADD RED CHILLY POWDER, TURMERIC POWDER, SALT, CORIANDER POWDER AND GROUND PASTE
  5. MIX WELL AND MARINATE IT FOR ATLEAST HALF AN HOUR
  6. IN A PAN, ADD COCONUT OIL AND HEAT
  7. WHEN HEATED ENOUGH, ADD CHOPPED CASHEWS AND FRY
  8. WHEN CASHEWS TURNED GOLDEN BROWN, ADD MARINATED PRAWNS
  9. IN LOW FLAME, GIVE A GOOD MIX
  10. WHEN STARTS BUBBLING, KEEP FLAME LOW AND COVER THE PAN AND COOK FOR 20 MIN.
  11. WHEN WATER EVAPORATED AND GRAVY DRIED, SWITCH OFF FLAME AND SERVE HOT
