Ingredients to make Vegetable hariyali

  • oil 2+1 tbsp
  • garlic cloves 10
  • onion 1 big
  • ginger 1 inch
  • Green chilli 2
  • tomato 1 big
  • coriander leaves 1 cup
  • spinach 1 cup(blanched)
  • cloves 3
  • cardamom 3
  • cinnamon 1 stick
  • Bayleaf 1
  • capsicum 1
  • cauliflower 1/2 cup
  • French beans 1/2 cup
  • Green peas 1/2 cup
  • cottage cheese/paneer 50 gms
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • curd 2 tbsp
  • cream 2 tbsp

How to make Vegetable hariyali

  1. PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS.
  2. TAKE 2 TBSP OIL IN A PAN.
  3. PUT 8-10 CLOVES OF GARLIC,2 GREEN CHILLIES AND 1 INCH PIECE OF GARLIC.SAUTE.
  4. ADD THINLY CHOPPED ONION ALSO AND SAUTE TILL THE ONIONS BROWN A LITTLE.
  5. ADD 1 TOMATO CHOPPED ROUGHLY.SAUTE FOR 2 MINUTES.
  6. ADD A CUP OF ROUGHLY CHOPPED CORIANDER AND MIX.
  7. SWITCH OFF THE GAS.LET THIS MIXTURE COOL.
  8. PUT IN A MIXER POT .
  9. ADD A CUP OF BLANCHED SPINACH ALSO.GRIND TO A PASTE.
  10. KEEP ASIDE.
  11. TAKE A TBSP OF OIL IN THE PAN AND ADD A BAYLEAF 3 CARDAMOM,3 CLOVES AND A PIECE OF CINNAMON.
  12. SAUTE FOR A MINUTE AND ADD DICED CAPSICUM
  13. WHEN CAPSICUM BECOMES LITTLE COOKED,ADD THE SPINACH PASTE.
  14. SAUTE FOR 2 TO 3 MINUTES TILL IT LEAVES OIL.
  15. ADD SALT,1/4 TSP TURMERIC AND 1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER.
  16. ADD 2 TBSP OF CURD AND 2 TBSP CREAM.
  17. MIX WELL AND COOK FOR A MINUTE.
  18. ADD 1/2 CUP BOILED CAULIFLOWER FLORETS,1/2 CUP GREEN PEAS AND 1/2 CUP FRENCH BEANS.
  19. MIX WELL AND ADD 2 TBSP WATER.COVER AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.
  20. ADD 50 GM PANEER CHOPPED INTO SMALL CUBES.MIX LIGHTLY AND SWITCH OFF GAS.
