Firstly, in a small mixing bowl take ½ cup warm Milk or Water, to that add 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of Active Dry yeast mix well and allow it to rest for 10 Min to activate yeast.
In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of All Purpose Flour (Maida), ¼ tsp of Baking powder, 2 tablespoon of Melted Butter and ¼ tsp of Salt.
Then add the activated Yeast mixture and crumble well all the ingredients.
Take Water as required and knead a soft dough.
Knead until the dough is soft, smooth and elastic bounces back when pressed, if not knead for more few minutes.
Tuck the dough and grease with 1 tsp of Oil, Cover the dough, allow it to rest and rise in a warm place for about 2 hours.
After two hrs, thee dough has raised and doubled in size indicating well fermented.
Knead the dough with fist to release down the air and knead slightly for 2 Min.
Take a large ball sized dough, dust with dry flour on the floor and start rolling the dough slightly thick.
Furthermore, with the help of round glass cut round shape and again with smaller cap of bottle give another cut inside bigger round. (Or use Donut cutter for cutting)
Place the Donuts over the tray, butter paper lined.
Now brush the Donuts with Oil to prevent from drying out and allow it to rest in warm place for 2 hours or until doubles in size.
After 2 hours deep-fry the Donuts in medium hot oil until turns golden brown in color.
With the help of double boiler method melt the dark Chocolate and keep ready.
Take the powdered Sugar, dip into the powdered Sugar and coat nicely from one side.
Then as per your taste and choice coat the Donuts with melted Chocolate and sprinkle some sweet fennel seeds or it tastes good even after coating with Strawberry Jam.
