Apple Nutella Galette

Ingredients to make Apple Nutella Galette

  • Galette Crust:
  • 1+1/4cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 2tbsp sugar
  • 1/2cup Chilled butter
  • 3tbsp Chilled water
  • For Filling:
  • 4 Golden apples
  • 1tbsp sugar
  • 3tbsp Nutella
  • almond flakes (as per need)
  • Chocolate sauce (optional for topping)
  • Milk (for brushing the crust)

How to make Apple Nutella Galette

  1. Take the flour, salt, sugar, chilled butter in a food processor, pulse well until the mixture turns as coarse crumb.
  2. Add the chilled water, mix well and turn as a dough.
  3. Meanwhile peel and core the apples, slice them as thin slices.
  4. Add the sugar to the apple slices,mix well and keep aside. Dust the dough and roll the dough as large circle.
  5. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking tray lined with a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  6. Spread the nutella over the rolled circle and now top it with the apple slices. Fold the edges of the galette crust over the apple slices.
  7. Take care not to cover the apples completely. Brush the crust with milk generously.
  8. Now sprinkle the almond flakes.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
  10. Let it cool completely, drizzle the chocolate sauce over the galette, slice it and enjoy.
