Focaccia is an italian flat bread similar to pizza dough topped with desired herbs veggies and olive and olive oil. It can served with soup ,salad and dip

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 cup flour
  2. 1 Cup water
  3. 2 tsp active yeast
  4. 2 tsp sugar
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 3 tbsp olive oil
  7. 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  8. 1/4 tsp rosemarry
  9. 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  10. 1/4 cup slices of onion
  11. 1/4 cuo green and black olives


  1. Take warm water in bowl
  2. Add yeast and sugar for activation
  3. Now add salt and olive oil
  4. Mix them all
  5. Then add flour and mix with spactula
  6. Initially it will sticky but keep regular mixing
  7. Take some dry flour on work place and knead it with olive oil in fingers
  8. It will come together gradually
  9. Then take baking dish and transfer it in it
  10. Spread evenly with fingers and pat it Cover whole baking dish
  11. If it is sticky can take some oil and spread it
  12. Now cover it with cloth and keep in warm place till double in size
  13. Then take it and with oil in fingers punch it all around
  14. It will bouncy then brush it with oil and butter
  15. Now sprinkle herbs,flakes and rosemary all around
  16. Now take onion slices and randomly arrange them on it
  17. Spread all over black and green olives
  18. And lastly sprinkle salt upon it
  19. Now bake it at 200 degree for 25-30 min or till golden brown in colour
  20. Our focaccia is ready serve it with cheese sauce, soup or salad
