Ingredients to make Palak mint pooris

  • palak leaves a bunch
  • mint leaves 1/2 cup
  • Whole wheat flour 360 grams
  • cumin seeds 2 teaspoons
  • salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • water 1/2 glass
  • ghee 1 teaspoon
  • oil for deep frying .

How to make Palak mint pooris

  1. Clean , wash a bunch of Palak leaves +1/2cup mint leaves . Add 2 tablespoons cumin seeds.
  2. Take 360grams whole wheat flour . Add 1/2 teaspoon salt .
  3. Blend the spinaches and cumin to a smooth purée by adding 1/2 glass water .
  4. Pour the ground purée to the wheat flour . Start kneading into a dough . Adjust water .
  5. Soft dough is ready . Add a teaspoon of ghee finally .Knead quickly.Cover the dough for 30min.
  6. Make small balls and roll into medium pooris . Dust flour if needed . Else omit.
  7. Heat oil in a wok for deep frying . Drop the poori in hot oil. Push the poori in the oil gently .
  8. Poori puffs.Fry both sides .Take out by draining excess oil . Likewise fry the rest of the pooris.
  9. Palak mint pooris are ready . Serve hot with aloo Baji .
