ABOUT Deviled Eggs with Salami RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 6 eggs
  2. water to boil eggs in
  3. 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  4. 4 tbsp cream
  5. 4 slices of salami
  6. 1/2 onion
  7. 1 tsp butter
  8. 1/2 tsp paprika
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Pepper to taste
  11. Parsley for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan boil the eggs until they are completely hardboiled, say 11 minutes. Remove and run under cold water.
  2. Shell the eggs and scoop out the yolks and set aside.
  3. Chop the onions and salami into equal piece. In a frying pan, sizzle the butter and add the chopped onions to it. Saute until brown. Add the salami and stir well. Turn off the heat
  4. Add in the egg yolks and mash well by adding in cream and mayonnaise. Add paprika, salt and pepper and adjust for seasoning.
  5. Add this mix into a piping bag and pipe into the hollowed egg whites. Chill the eggs for 20 minutes before serving. Sprinkle parsley at the end.
