A Delicious Cauliflower And Peas Samosa. Delicious evening snack, Gobi Matar Mini Samosa is delicious and can be served with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney, Date Tamarind Chutney and a cup of Masala Chai. .

Gobi Samosa

Ingredients to make Gobi Samosa

  • 200 gm refined flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp carrom seeds
  • 40 gm oil
  • Chilled water as required
  • For stuffing-
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 green chili
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp fennel powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp amchoor powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 2 cups cauliflower chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp cashews

How to make Gobi Samosa

  1. TAKE 200 GM REFINED FLOUR, ADD SALT, 1/2 TSP CARROM SEEDS, 40 GM OIL AND MIX WELL
  2. ADD CHILLED WATER AND JUST COLLECT THE DOUGH, DO NOT KNEAD
  3. COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 30 MINUTES
  4. FOR STUFFING- HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 2 TBSP ONION, 1 TBSP GINGER, 1 GREEN CHILLI
  5. SALT, 1/2 TSP FENNEL POWDER, 1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA
  6. 1/2 TSP CUMIN POWDER, 1/2 TSP CHILLY POWDER, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, 1 TSP AMCHOOR POWDER
  7. 1 TBSP CASHEWS, COOK FOR 2 MINUTES
  8. ADD 1/4 CUP GREEN PEAS, 2 CUPS CAULIFLOWER
  9. ADD 1/4 CUP WATER, COVER AND COOK UNTIL MUSHY
  10. WHEN COOLS DOWN, ADD FRESH CORIANDER, TRANSFER IN A BOWL
  11. KNEAD THE DOUGH FOR 1-2 MINUTES
  12. TAKE A SMALL BALL FROM DOUHG, ROLL INTO OVAL
  13. CUT EACH ONE INTO 2 HALVES.
  14. TAKE ONE HALF INTO LEFT HAND AND APPLY WATER TO ITS ENDS, PLACE OTHER HALF OVER FIRST ONE STICK THEM TOGETHER AND MAKE A CONE.
  15. ADD 2 TBSP STUFFING AND APLY WATER ON EDGES
  16. SEAL THE EDGES
  17. PREPARE ALL SAMOSAS LIKE THIS.
  18. FRY IN MEDIUM HOT OIL, TILL GOLDEN
  19. TAKE OUT ON TISSUE
