A Delicious Cauliflower And Peas Samosa. Delicious evening snack, Gobi Matar Mini Samosa is delicious and can be served with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney, Date Tamarind Chutney and a cup of Masala Chai. .

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 200 gm refined flour
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1/2 tsp carrom seeds
  4. 40 gm oil
  5. Chilled water as required
  6. For stuffing-
  7. 2 tbsp oil
  8. 2 tbsp onion
  9. 1 tbsp ginger
  10. 1 green chili
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1 tsp red chilli
  13. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  14. 1/2 tsp fennel powder
  15. 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. 1 tsp amchoor powder
  17. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  18. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  19. 1/4 cup green peas
  20. 2 cups cauliflower chopped
  21. 2 tbsp fresh coriander
  22. 1 tbsp cashews

Instructions

  1. TAKE 200 GMS FLOUR, ADD SALT, 1/2 TSP CAROM SEEDS, 40 ML OIL, MIX WELL
  2. ADD CHILLED WATER & JUST COLLECT THE DOUGH, DO NOT KNEAD
  3. COVER & SET ASIDE FOR 30 MINS
  4. FOR THE STUFFING - HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 2 TBSP ONION, 1 TBSP GINGER, 1 GREEN CHILLI
  5. ADD SALT, 1/2 TSP EACH OF FENNEL, CORIANDER & GARAM MASALA POWDERS
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF CUMIN & RED CHILLI POWDERS, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, 1 TSP AMCHOOR POWDER
  7. ADD 1 TBSP CASHEWS, COOK FOR 2 MINS
  8. ADD 1/4 CUP GREEN PEAS, 2 CUPS CAULIFLOWER
  9. ADD 1/4 CUP WATER, COVER & COOK UNTIL MUSHY
  10. ALLOW IT TO COOL, ADD 1/4 CUP FRESH CORIANDER, TRANSFER TO A BOWL
  11. KNEAD THE FLOUR DOUGH FOR 1-2 MINS
  12. TAKE SMALL BALLS OF DOUGH, ROLL INTO OVALS
  13. CUT EACH ONE INTO 2 HALVES
  14. TAKE ONE HALF, APPLY WATER TO THE EDGES, FOLD & JOIN THE ENDS LIKE THIS TO MAKE A CONE
  15. ADD 2 TBSP STUFFING, APPLY WATER ON THE EDGES
  16. SEAL THE ENDS LIKE THIS TO SHAPE INTO SAMOSAS
  17. PREPARE ALL THE SAMOSAS LIKE THIS
  18. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT
  19. TAKE OFF HEAT WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  20. TRY THEM, THEY'RE DELICIOUS
