About Cashew Rice Recipe

This is one of the easiest recipe that you can prepare. Since it tastes like Popcorn - Kids will like this food to the fullest and it is healthy with all its Nutritious value.

Cashew Rice

Ingredients to make Cashew Rice

  • • Cooked rice – 2 cup
  • cashews – ¼ cup
  • oil – 5 tsp
  • mustard seeds / Rai – ½ + ¼ tsp
  • turmeric Powder / Haldi – ½ tsp
  • salt – 1 pinch

How to make Cashew Rice

  1. • In a heating pan add 5 tsp of Oil and let it heat.
  2. • Then add ½ + ¼ tsp of Mustard seeds (Rai), ¼ tsp of Hing and followed by ¼ cup of Cashews and roast the Cashews nicely until turns into light brown color.
  3. • Then add ½ tsp of Turmeric Powder (Haldi) and mix.
  4. • Furthermore, add 2 cup of boiled and cooked Rice and mix well.
  5. • Add Salt only if required.
  6. • Delicious Popcorn as if tasted Cashew Rice is now ready to serve hot.

My Tip:

Salt is already present in cooked Rice so add Salt more only if required.
