Piri Piri or Peri Peri chicken, a traditional South African dish,Home made version , mild hot, grilled perfect.

Pan Grilled Peri Peri Chicken

Ingredients to make Pan Grilled Peri Peri Chicken

  • chicken thighs - 900 gm ( 8-10 pieces)
  • for marination : peri peri sauce
  • red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  • lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • yogurt – 1 tbsp
  • olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • freshly crushed pepper – 1 tsp
  • salt – to taste.

How to make Pan Grilled Peri Peri Chicken

  1. Mix all the ingredients given in marination, now the peri peri sauce is ready.
  2. Add the prepared sauce for marinating the chicken. Keep the marinated chicken in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill pan and apply one tbsp olive oil and arrange the chicken pieces and close it.
  4. Turn and cook each side for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  5. Now the delicious peri peri chicken is ready . Serve with salads and french fries.

My Tip:

Adjust the spiceness according to your taste.
