Rava - Aloo Potli

Ingredients to make Rava - Aloo Potli

  • Fine samolina powder 1 cup
  • wheat flour 3 tsp for dough
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder a pinch
  • wheat flour 1/4 cup for dusting
  • Leftover aloo palyam
  • Cooking oil for deep fry
  • Sufficient water
  • coriander leaves few

How to make Rava - Aloo Potli

  1. FINE POWDER OF SAMOLINA
  2. SALT, TURMERIC POWDER
  3. WHEAT FLOUR, SOME WATER
  4. COMBINE ALL WELL
  5. KNEAD THE DOUGH
  6. ADD SOME COOKING OIL, KNEAD IN TO SMOOTH DOUGH, COVER AND LET IT 15 MINUTES
  7. AFTER 15 MINUTES, MAKE SMALL BALLS OUT OF DOUGH
  8. TAKE THE BALL, PRESS IN WHEAT FLOUR, ROLL LIKE POORI
  9. FILL 2 TSP OF REMAINING ALOO PALYAM
  10. COVER AND GIVE THE SHAPE LIKE POTLI
  11. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  12. FLIP AND FRY EVENLY
  13. FRY TILL GOLDEN COLOR
  14. TIE WITH CORIANDER STRINGS, AND SERVE WITH SAUCE
