ABOUT Chocolate cake RECIPE

This recipe doesn't require baking powder or soda and vanilla essence.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 130 gm of sugar (powdered)
  2. 100 gm of flour
  3. 30 gm of cocoa powder
  4. A pinch of salt
  5. 3 eggs or 100gm of butter
  6. 1 cup of milk (optional)


  1. First add the eggs or butter along with sugar and whisk it properly.
  2. Sieve the cocoa powder and flour and a pich of salt into the batter. Mix well until the batter is thick.
  3. If the batter is too thick and 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup of milk depending upon the thickness.
  4. Grease the pan with butter or a spray and place a butter paper in the center.
  5. Bake at 170 degrees celsius for a maximum of 25 mins or for 10 mins.
  6. Pork a tooth pick in the centre and if it comes out clean your cake is ready!

what about baking powder?is it not required?
