About Breakfast Parfait Recipe

My healthy breakfast parfait is nothing like the original French version of full cream, custard and dessert like concoction .. It is a fun way or healthy take on a simple morning breakfast put together in an attractive way.

Breakfast Parfait

Ingredients to make Breakfast Parfait

  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup organic rolled oats
  • 1 cup thick yogurt ( Greek yogurt)
  • 4 tbsp chopped mixed nuts
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 5 apricots sliced
  • 2 tbsp chocolate nibs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 small orange

How to make Breakfast Parfait

  1. add milk to rolled oats and let it rest .
  2. add flax seeds, chia seeds to the bowl .Chia seeds will swell a bit .
  3. if preparing for overnight, take 2 glasses.
  4. add yogurt at bottom,
  5. layer with chopped fruits, slices of apples, banana, orange
  6. ayer with remaining nuts and seeds, add the oats milk mixture .
  7. prinkle more seeds and nuts top with more greek yogurt.
  8. garnish with choco nibs, chopped fruit slices and remaining nuts . cover and keep in fridge.
  9. enjoy the chilled overnight glass of breakfast parfait .
