ABOUT Egg korma RECIPE

Mughlai styled egg curry, to be served with some steamed rice .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled egg 4
  2. 2 medium onion chopped
  3. 6 to 7 cloves garlic chopped
  4. 1 inch ginger
  5. 4 to 5 pepper corns
  6. 2 cloves
  7. 1 cinnamon
  8. 4 green cardamom
  9. 4 to 5 green chillies chopped
  10. 1 tbsp coconut powder
  11. 1 cup milk
  12. Salt
  13. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  14. 7 to 8 cashew nuts soaked in warm water
  15. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  16. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Shallow fry the eggs till golden from all sides. Keep aside
  2. Make a paste of garlic ginger, chillies, and whole spices adding little water .keep aside
  3. Make a paste of soaked cashew. Keep aside
  4. In a pan heat oil. Add the onions. Fry till golden..now add the garlic and whole spice paste. Mix well.
  5. Mix the coconut powder cook fr 5 min.
  6. Add cashew paste. Mix well. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder salt and sugar. Mix well. Cook fr 5 to 6 min.
  7. Add the eggs. Mix well. Add the milk. Sikmer fr 5 to 6 min. Add kasuri methi. Mix well.
  8. Serve hot
